AI Developer

Location: Richmond, VA
Position Type: Hybrid, must report onsite quarterly
Contract Length: 4 months, extension until December likely

Position Overview:
Then AI Developer will design and integrate advanced UI components using React.js and Angular, seamlessly connecting with AI-driven systems. This role involves optimizing front-end performance, developing AI/ML applications, and ensuring intuitive human-AI interactions while maintaining comprehensive documentation.

Duties:

• Developing and implementing UI components using React.js and/or Angular 
• Preparation of AI and ML models using inputs from solutions architecture and development of AI/machine learning (ML) applications. 
• Integrate AI agents and autonomous systems for decision-making, workflow automation, and task delegation.  
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features 
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use 
• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code 
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across various web browsers 
• Troubleshooting and debugging issues to ensure smooth user experiences 
• Participating in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency

Required Skills:

• 5 years of experience with ReactJS
• 2 years of experience with Agentic AI Skills (AI Models, ML, LLM, Deep Learning)
• 5 years of experience building high performance solutions to leverage large data sets
• 5 years of experience with HTML5/CSS3
• A year of experience integrating with deck.gl
• 3 years of experience with building BI widgets and GIS enabled visualizations (Azure Maps)
