SCOPE OF POSITION:

We're seeking a highly motivated and curious intern to develop AI competencies. This internship offers a unique opportunity to explore and create autonomous AI agents. You will work alongside experienced IT architects, gaining hands-on experience in designing, training, and evaluating agent-based systems. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and a desire to learn about the exciting and rapidly evolving field of agentic AI.

• Assist in the development and implementation of AI agent algorithms\: This may include working with reinforcement learning, planning, natural language processing, and other relevant techniques. 
• Contribute to the design and implementation of simulation environments\: These environments will be used to train and test our AI agents. 
• Help with the collection and preparation of data\: This data will be crucial for training and evaluating agent performance. 
• Conduct experiments and analyze results\: You will help to evaluate the performance of different agent architectures and algorithms. 
• Document code and experiments\: Maintaining clear and organized documentation is essential for reproducibility and collaboration. 
• Explore and learn new technologies and frameworks\: The field of AI is constantly evolving, so a willingness to learn is crucial. 

KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION\: (Minimum Education and/or Experience required)

• Must be a current undergraduate student majoring in an accredited degree program for Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field entering their junior or senior year.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills – written & verbal
• Strong organizational skills, able to multi-task and prioritize work
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or other languages required in AI development. 
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and techniques. 
• A passion for AI and a desire to learn about agent-based systems. 
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  
• Hybrid (3 days office, 2 WFH).
