Luxer One is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join our growing software development team. Luxer One is a technology company that specializes in package delivery solutions for multifamily communities, commercial properties, and retail spaces. Our products include package lockers, package rooms, and access control systems that help businesses manage package deliveries efficiently and securely.
Major Roles/Responsibilities:
- Design and develop AI chatbot systems following best practices by using Python and/or chatbot-specific frameworks
- Implement robust AI solutions with a focus on scalability and performance
- Architect and optimize AI models for natural language processing and conversational AI
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate AI technologies into existing product ecosystems
- Conduct in-depth research on emerging technologies and machine learning frameworks
- Develop and maintain high-quality, well-documented code
- Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior team members
- Manage deploys to production
Requirements
Nice to have:
- Experience in image recognition, especially shipping labels
- Experience with small embedded AI models that can run on small devices
Outcomes:
- Improve the implementation of existing chatbot service(s)
- Increase on support tickets resolved by the chatbot
- Research and prototype AI-driven improvements to existing processes
Key Interactions:
- Regular collaboration with the AI PM and Software Developer Manager.
- Collaboration with stakeholders to understand business requirements
