Overview 

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain AI-driven solutions that address internal business challenges and enhance operational efficiency. This role will focus on building scalable, production-grade AI enabled systems while ensuring compliance with rigorous data control standards in a highly regulated environment. 

 

Qualifications 

- Proficient in programming languages such as Python; familiarity with JavaScript is a plus. 
- Experience designing and implementing RAG pipelines to enable AI solutions that combine large language models (LLMs) with external data sources for context-aware responses. 
- Proven experience deploying and maintaining AI/ML solutions in production environments. 
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and production-level AI model management. 
- Familiarity with IT security principles, compliance standards, and best practices for data control in regulated industries. 
- Expertise with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face). 
- Proficiency in working with vector stores (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, or FAISS) for efficient document retrieval in RAG systems. 
- Proficiency in fine-tuning and optimizing large language models and leveraging APIs (e.g., OpenAI). 
- Demonstrated ability to own problems end-to-end, acquiring new skills and knowledge as needed to deliver results. 
- Strong ability to translate technical AI/ML concepts into actionable plans for non-technical stakeholders. 
- Collaborative team player with a focus on achieving technical excellence in a fast-paced environment. 

 

Responsibilities 

- Architect and deploy RAG pipelines to integrate large language models with internal systems and document corpuses, 
- Design, build, and deploy production-grade AI/ML enabled solutions to address business challenges and optimize workflows. 
- Implement robust monitoring, maintenance, and scaling strategies for deployed AI systems to ensure reliability and performance. 
- Develop and enforce best practices for data handling, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. 
- Work closely with compliance and IT teams to maintain secure and controlled environments for sensitive data. 
- Partner with internal teams to understand workflows, identify areas for AI integration, and define technical requirements. 
- Provide technical guidance to stakeholders on AI capabilities and architectural best practices. 
- Maintain and document AI models, workflows, and tools to ensure reusability and scalability. 
- Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of deployed AI solutions. 
- Stay updated on advancements in AI technologies and incorporate best practices into solutions. 
- Collect and analyze feedback from internal users to improve AI-based processes. 
 

Preferred Skills 

- Familiarity with tools like Databricks, MLflow, or similar platforms for managing AI lifecycles. 
- Experience with NLP, computer vision, and other advanced AI techniques for business applications. 
- Proficiency in integrating AI solutions with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). 

- Observability technology experience 
- Must exhibit strong self-management skills, including maintaining good ticket hygiene, following ticketing best practices, and being proactive in updating and managing their tasks.
